£26,052 to £31,076 or £32,004 to £38,183 (dependant on experience and qualifications)

Liverpool School of Art & Design seeks to appoint a Research Assistant to support the research activity of Face Lab.

Face Lab was formed in 2014 at LJMU and researchers from the Lab have had great success in craniofacial analysis, identification of unknown bodies in forensic investigation, or historical figures for archaeological depiction. This work may involve craniofacial analysis, post-mortem depiction and craniofacial superimposition. Face Lab research relates to craniofacial identification, ancestry determination, facial recognition and facial animation.

You will have the demonstrated ability to carry out research in craniofacial identification fields, and will be expected to become involved in the public engagement of Face Lab locally, nationally and internationally.

The salary will be agreed dependent on qualifications and experience.
