A key part of our business strategy is to apply for, and win, government grants and tenders. This requires a disciplined approach to how we collate, organise and present a range of different elements of information – bringing it all together to form a winning bid or response to tender.

We are looking for someone with first class organisation skills, a keen eye for detail, a ‘can do’ attitude and a tenacity to meet deadlines in order to support the production of all bid applications across the team.


Collating necessary information for a specific bid.
Drafting and reviewing required documentation such as project proposals and financial spreadsheets.
Creating and distributing quotations as required.
Registering the company’s interest in tendering for work.
Keeping track of deadlines and chasing people for input on bids.
Measure performance of sales activities regularly and provide reports.
Researching into new business opportunities/frameworks/projects within our industry.
Work in a team with our Sales and CRM Assistant to apply and constantly follow our Customer Relationship Management framework


Perfect English written communication skills
Ability to write proposals and presentations
Ability to follow a strict plan
Has an agile mind and an ability to learn quickly

35 hours per week


This role is fixed term role for 7 months and will be paid national minimum wage for 35 hours per week. There is an opportunity for the right person to be offered a full time position at the end of the 7 month period.


These roles are subsidised by Liverpool City Council as part of the Liverpool Ways to Work Employer Wage Incentive programme. In order to be eligible to apply you need to meet the following criteria:

Currently be unemployed (this could also mean you are a self-employed freelancer or recent graduate).
Aged between 16 and 29 (passport or birth certificate will be required).
You are a Liverpool resident (i.e., you have a purple wheelie bin!).
